Carolina Strawberry Festival

In 2011, the Town of Wallace, lead by a core group of leaders, brought the “Strawberry Festival” back to Wallace after 50 years. Each year, the Carolina Strawberry Festival has grown bigger and better.

Ages 16 & older must have fishing permit. All fishing permits include a family of four. Weekend permits cover Saturday and Sunday only.

Available for birthday parties. 2 hours includes 1 hour for the party (cake, presents, etc) 1 hour to explore The Learning Station, Caboose, and Model Train Room. Fee $150

The Wanoca Outdoor Theatre

The Wanoca Outdoor Theatre was dedicated in 2000 by the Wallace Revitalization Association as an outdoor gathering space for the community.  The theatre space and neighboring community center are both available to rent for private functions and community events.  Call of visit Town Hall at 910-285-4136, 316 E. The Wallace Community Center at the Historic Wallace Woman's Club Building. 

 The historic Woman’s Club was built in 1939 as a community building through the efforts of the Wallace Woman’s Club members.  The facility and the neighboring outdoor theatre space is available to rent for private functions and community events.  Call of visit Town Hall at 910-285-4136, 316 E.
