Garbage and Yard Waste

The Town of Wallace provide garbage andy yard waste services to its residents and businesses. Tons of Trash is a privately own company that the Town uses to contracts with to provide these services. The following pick up schedule for these services are:
  • Tuesday: Residental garbage pick up
  • Thursday: Residential yard waste pick up
Businesses that have dumpster pick up has there owned schedule day of pick up based own how many dumps they need for there business.

Big Trash Day

Town of Wallace provides Big Trash day once a quarter. This is done on the first Thursday starting in February, May, August, and November. All items should be placed at curbside by 7am on the day of pickup. Such items that can be pick up are home furnishings, appliances, etc. We can not accept batteries, paint, tires, and building materials(ex. shingles, wood, etc.) If you have any questions, please contact the public works department at 910-285-2812.
