SCAM ALERT!  Please be advised fraudulent checks are being sent to individuals purporting to be a check from the Town of Wallace.  The scam requires you to text a number to verify funds.  THESE ARE NOT VALID CHECKS FROM THE TOWN OF WALLACE.  If you receive one of these checks, contact your local authorities or Wallace Police at 910-285-2126.
