It is the mission of the Wallace Parks and Recreation Department to create and maintain the very best recreational programs and activities for citizens of Wallace and the surrounding communities.
The Wallace Parks and Recreation Department is committed providing a clean, safe and educational environment to meet the recreational needs of our community.

Minor and Major baseball drafts are scheduled for Thursday, March 15 at Art Meyer Field. The Minors (9-10) will draft at 6:00 p.m. and the Majors (11-12) will draft at 7:30 p.m.
The 2018 MLB Pitch, Hit and Run Competition will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Clement Street Park. This is a free event open to all baseball and softball players ages 7-14. Age is determined as of July 17, 2018. Participants may signup the day of the competition or online at https://www.pitchhitrun.com/find
and entering the zip code 28466. Participants will need to bring the online registration and a birth certificate to verify age.

Registration fees are $37.00 for in town residents and $50.00 for out of
town residents. Discounts are provided for siblings. All participants must have a birth certificate on file
with the WPRD. Participants must reside within the Wallace Elementary School District.
