It is the mission of the Wallace Parks and Recreation Department to create and maintain the very best recreational programs and activities for citizens of Wallace and the surrounding communities.
The Wallace Parks and Recreation Department is committed providing a clean, safe and educational environment to meet the recreational needs of our community.

The sectional level of the MLB Pitch Hit and Run Competition scheduled for today has been canceled due to the weather. This event has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 2. All times will remain the same.
MLB Sectional Pitch Hit and Run Competition is set for Saturday, June 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Clement Street Park. This is event is for the local competition winners from our area. Winners of the sectional level will have a chance to advance to the regional level in Atlanta, GA.
Summer youth volleyball signups are now open online and in person at the park office. This is a short season league open to all boys and girls ages 10-12 and 13-15 as of August 1, 2018. Practices will start in mid June and the season will begin in July. Fees for this league are $25 for in town residents and $35 for out of town residents.

Registration fees are $37.00 for in town residents and $50.00 for out of
town residents. Discounts are provided for siblings. All participants must have a birth certificate on file
with the WPRD. Participants must reside within the Wallace Elementary School District.
