It is the mission of the Wallace Parks and Recreation Department to create and maintain the very best recreational programs and activities for citizens of Wallace and the surrounding communities.
The Wallace Parks and Recreation Department is committed providing a clean, safe and educational environment to meet the recreational needs of our community.

The WPRD Local MLB Pitch Hit and Run Competition is set for Saturday, April 20 at Clement Street park. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the event starting at 10:00 a.m. This is a free event open to all baseball and softball players ages 7-14 as of July 17, 2019. Boys and girls will be divided into for four age groups, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14 and will have a chance to advance through four levels of competition with the National Championship during the MLB All-Star Week. Registration fees are $37.00 for in town residents and $50 for out of town residents.
If you are interested in coaching a youth baseball or softball team, please contact the park office and fill out a background check online.

with the WPRD. Participants must reside within the Wallace Elementary School District.
