Traffic Signal at Main St (NC Hwy 41) & College St

The North Carolina Department of Transportation will be removing the traffic signal at the intersection of E Main St (NC Hwy 41) and N College St. On Tuesday, July 25th, the signal was placed on "flash" and will stay that way for a period of 30 days. On Tuesday, August 29th NCDOT will bag the signal heads for a period of 60 days. The signal equipment will start being removed on Tuesday, October 31st. 

The Town of Wallace agreed for the NCDOT to remove this traffic signal with the installation of the traffic signal at the intersection of NC Hwy 41/Teachey Rd/E Southerland St. The signal at NC Hwy 41/Teachey Rd/E Southerland St should be completed by the end of December 2017.
